- I plan to do my project on abortion
- My friend always told me, "What if one of the babies who were aborted had the cure for cancer?" This statement has been in my mind for a few years wondering the same thing.
- People should be concerned because people are killing babies that haven't even had the chance to live on their own.
- They can be shown pictures of little kids enjoying their lives to make people feel guilty.

Social Issue Ad Campaign Examples
this is taken conceptually. I like this advertisement because it brings up a strong emotion of the viewer because humans are the reason why these animals are dying sooner. it is clever to put the animals on plastic bags because that is how they are dying.
This ad is creative. even though the it is a baby, it is very stereotypical because thats how some people treat certain people based on their skin color. its different how its a baby because they have their whole life to decide what they want to become.
This photo is technical because it takes timing. again, there is a lot of emotion because the first photo is sad. But it shoes how just having a different owner can be good as long as he isnt abusive. the 2nd photo you can see that the cat is a very pretty cat with its eyes wide open instead of barely open like the left one.

Photojournalism - Before the Night, with their Might, the Children FIght
Sweat in the palms of their hands, smiles on their faces, all of them friends preparing to battle one another. With their hearts racing, eager to begin, young martial art students have been training to fight or spar against each other to win a trophy.
Every month, there is an in-school sparring tournament at the West Shore Academy of Martial Arts. Children compete with each other because it helps build confidence in them.
The tournament starts with a traditional bow in which shows respect for the American and Korean flags and the instructor teaching the class. Student will then put on all their equipment including gloves, footgear, headgear, mouthpiece, and for the boys, cups. Every student has to fight at least three matches trying to score as many points as possible.

Processing the News
the article is about photojournalism and how it brings out the truth in the world. David Campbell is a secretary for the World Press Photo Contest. During 2013, the contest winner of 2012 was accused of manipulation the photo and there was a lot of controversy. Material alterations is not acceptable. Contreras was a talented photographer who was operating under extreme duress. the attitude to many pf the photographers was everything is okay as long as the camera took. and it is not okay if it is in Photoshop. when the viewers of the photo cannot truth the photos, the photographers become tricksters. there is distrust among many known photographers. photographers will edit their photos to show what they saw in real life. manipulating a photo vs underlying content.
Photojournalism Shooting Assignment
It was cool doing this assignment. I liked how I know each one of the students who were fighting. Watching them Fight and talking to them was hard though. since they are young, almost every time i asked a question, they would respond with a 1 word answer, so i had to ask them for a longer response or i asked another question. For the younger younger kids, i just went straight to the parent/parents and asked them some questions. overall i liked the experience, it was fun, but tough.
