Aperture Quiz

Low F/Stop F/4.5
                                                               Medium F/Stop F/10

                                                                High F/Stop F/29

I liked this assignment because it is a creative work playing around with the depth of field. i liked how one shot can be turned into 3 by just changing the F/stop. here in this work, in the 1st pic, lucy is out of focus, but the books are in focus. in the 2nd picture, the books are in focus and lucy is, but the background of her is a little blurred. in the 3rd picture, lucy is focused, the books are, and the shades in the background is also. Depth of field can be manipulated in photography because it can focus on the main subject of a photo. it helps the viewers look at the subject instead of having wandering eyes, unless you use a high depth of field, then the eyes will stay in motion looking at everything. i like using depth of field as an advantage to photography because i like taking close up photos with almost nothing right behind, except a really far away object or scenery.
